To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download A Shoulder stretch that works I developed terrible shoulder pain and narrowed part of the problem down to my hours of work on my computer. I discoverd a simple stretch that I do daily and it has done wonders. Lay on the floor on your back, with your arms flat to the side of your head with the palms of your hands facing upward towards the ceiling. Relax all your muscles and breath. Now you will notice a gap between the floor and the back of your wrist. Flatten your wrist to the floor, the first thing you will notice is that you had to arch your back to accomplish. Try to relax while breathing and without arching your back. Do this daily until you can accomplish while relaxing, may take a few weeks. As you develop flexibility, and understand how to relax while doing stretch try this during the day but against a wall with your hands positioned the same way. I do this in my office and have eliminated all shoulder pain from working on the computer. I also started using light weights to stretch my shoulders down by relaxing as I hold the 10 LB weights at my side. September 2009
