Osteo-Arthritis at 44

by: elle on Wed, Jan 30 2008

Hello: I am a 44 yr old woman who falls into the over exercise category. X rays show moderate to severe condition in my lower back, knees, neck and feet. I have been dealing with this progressive condition over the past 10 yrs, however the last 3 yrs have been tougher with both knees undergoing arthoscopic and pins in my toes. I have changed my lifestyle to a more healthy approach with modified exercise, since it is a part of my life, however I am worried about what the future will bring as some days the pain is pretty bad, however I try to maintain a positive approach. I do not like to take medication unless really necessary. My husband has a tough time understanding my “slowness” any recommendations? Is there some other approach which my relieve a bit of the Pain?
