I’ve got a couple friends with gout and thought i wouldn’t get it, but turns out my dad had gout and at a young age to it hit him in his mid 20’s, but not having any contact with him sence i was 16 i didn’t know he had gout! Any way so one tipicall day my foot sweld up and it sweld some more but it realy didnt hurt to much i didn’t evan understand why i had not twisted it or injured it! the part that was hurting was the swelling the skin being streched and pulled from the meat. then at 3:00 am the unamagenable happened i was awaken by the feeling of the foot being amputated with a butter knife it lasted about an hour, the pain went as fast as it came. I showed and told my mom and she said you got gout , i said say what then she said your father had gout and what i went throw he did to. all thow his was his big tow, mine is my ankle. so i went online and started research and thats when i got confused about a good diet. they all seem to counter dict each other. one saying ok drink coffee next say no cafeen, one say eat dairy the next said no, eat chacolate the next said no sugar. so what real could help me is a person or persons please tell me what i should and should not eat thanks for your time October 2008
